Option 2: Meal Queue building, shopping list and/or prep checklists weekly $ Varies

+Meal Queue One-time project & fee   $50

This is your guide for choosing recipes each week - a listing or collection of tried and true recipes that will be on rotation for dinner.  These can take some time to build as you try recipes and decide what you like. Once you have it, it’s so much simpler and quicker to choose from a good list rather than the entire world of recipes! I offer the option to help build your Meal Queue based on your preferences, including types of food and amount of time and ingredients involved. Approximately 40 recipes.

+Weekly shopping list created for you $13/week for up to 5 recipes

Based on your selected recipes and number of servings for the week, I will create your shopping list and send it to you in the Google Keep list making app. You may either choose your recipes or I can choose for you with input about your preferences; recipe selection completed for you is an additional $5 for the week. We can also discuss your list being created directly in your Wal-Mart/Kroger/Target, etc. app.

+Weekly prep checklists for up to 5 recipes $13/week for up to 5 recipes

Prep checklists are your chosen recipes for the week broken down into action items. They help you quickly and easily see what action each recipe ingredient needs for it to be ready to cook. I post these notes right in my kitchen as I prep so it’s simple to see what work needs done. These prep checklists will be e-mailed to you in your preferred format. Options include a list in the Google Keep app, a printable (or phone based) note card or simply a list in the e-mail message.

+Bundle of shopping list and prep checklists weekly $22/week for up to 5 recipes

Option 3: Full-service meal kit prep $ Varies, typically $12-15 per serving

Bridgeport, WV area only
Delivery within ~6 mile radius
*minimum 4 servings per week for this service - may be a combination of the offered meal kits; actual price will be posted weekly with recipe selections

This includes planning, shopping, prepping at a sanitary commercial kitchen, clean up, packaging, and delivery of meal kits. The meal kit will include all fresh and dry ingredients, non-basic seasonings* and sauces needed to quickly and easily cook the selected recipe at your home.

*Customers are expected to have these basic ingredients on hand for use in recipes and will not be included in the meal kit: salt, pepper, preferred cooking oil or spray, butter, milk, crushed red pepper, eggs, soy sauce, variety of vinegar, garlic powder, garlic salt. Each recipe posting will clearly state which ingredients will be included in the meal kit. Kitchen equipment needed to prepare the meals at your home may include: frying pans, sheet pans, citrus juicer, knives, measuring cups and spoons, colander, spatulas, crock pot, stockpot/pasta pot, large spoons, tongs, mixing bowls.

Ingredients will be prepped as closely to “ready to cook” as is possible ahead of time. Depending on the recipe, this means veggies will be cleaned, diced, sliced; chicken will be trimmed, diced, sliced; meats like kielbasa will be sliced or chopped; seasonings or sauces will be measured and in their own container. Ground meat will generally be left in its original packaging for preparation at your home. Dry goods such as canned beans and veggies, boxes of pasta, jars of marinara sauce, etc. will be left as-is in your meal kit. Prepped ingredients will be provided in an appropriate size and variety of plastic containers with lids and/or Ziploc bags.

Each meal kit will include a printed recipe card with basic instructions. I strive to choose recipes which are simple, non-labor intensive, with fewer ingredients overall. They will be fresh, simple and tasty but not fancy, hard to make or have lots of ingredients.
